Part Time Custodian
About The Position
As a Part Time Custodian, you will play an essential role in keeping our local school clean, healthy, and safe for students and staff. Working as a key school janitor, your daily responsibilities will include: Performing routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal. Sanitizing classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and high-touch surface areas. Serving as a reliable commercial cleaner to ensure all school facilities meet safety and cleanliness standards. Assisting with minor maintenance and ensuring equipment is stored securely after evening shifts.
Requirements
- Ability to pass a required state background check.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive, team-first attitude.
- Ability to work the set evening shift (Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM).
Nice To Haves
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus, but not required—we will train the right candidate!
