About The Position

The Custodian maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the facility and surrounding grounds. The role performs daily cleaning and housekeeping tasks, supports maintenance activities, and ensures areas meet company cleanliness and safety standards. The position is located in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Requirements

Ability to perform frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting, and stooping.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Comfort working in environments with varying temperatures.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage supplies and inventory.
Teamwork and reliability in a collaborative environment.
Safety-focused mindset and consistent use of required PPE, including safety shoes, gloves, and eye protection.
Positive attitude, self-motivation, and dependability.

Responsibilities

Keep the building and grounds neat, clean, and free from hazards or clutter.
Maintain exterior spaces, including mowing, weed eating, and parking lot upkeep.
Wash and clean heavy equipment as needed.
Stack and organize pallets in designated areas.
Safely operate a high-powered pressure washing system.
Clean and restock restrooms regularly.
Empty trash receptacles throughout the facility.
Clean offices, break rooms, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, and maintain interior and exterior floors.
Respond promptly to emergency cleaning or maintenance requests.
Perform daily housekeeping and janitorial tasks in shop and work areas.
Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
Perform minor facility maintenance tasks as needed.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
