About The Position

This is a full-time, 12-month position with benefits and paid vacation. The role involves working a second shift during the school year (Monday - Friday, 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm, 40 hours total) and a first shift during the summer months (Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:00 pm, 40 hours total). The position requires flexibility, good communication skills, the ability to relate and work with school staff, excellent work ethics, and the ability to work successfully and efficiently in a team environment. The custodian must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and complete assigned tasks successfully.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling.
• Some climbing and balancing.
• Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
• Significant fine finger dexterity.
• Ability to work in a "team environment" with others.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks successfully and efficiently.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
