Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician – Evening (1:00 PM – 9:30 PM)
About The Position
Southend Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fulfillment Technician. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that a pharmacy or healthcare facility complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards. Their duties are specialized and often administrative, with a focus on quality assurance and risk management. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly impact on the safety and well-being of our patients. Please note that this evening shift schedule is Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM; however, hours may be adjusted based on business needs, and flexibility in availability is expected to support teams and operational demands.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Pharmacy Technician certification from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with emphasis on compounding and fulfillment
- Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience maintaining consistent punctuality and reliability, with the ability to effectively adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic pharmacy environment
Nice To Haves
- Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential from the PTCB
- Prior experience using Google Docs and related Google Workspace applications
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems such as Lifefile, PioneerRx, or QS/1
- Previous experience in a compounding pharmacy environment
Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medication and fulfill medication orders by preparing, packaging, and labeling bottles, vials, and oral suspensions
- Track and manage medication inventory to ensure availability and compliance with pharmacy regulations
- Ensure timely and precise medication distribution to healthcare providers
- Monitor and replenish medication supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service
