Under limited supervision, performs work of routine difficulty in the cleaning and maintenance of County facilities. This position involves identifying and reporting repair needs, performing minor repairs, and grounds maintenance including snow removal. The role may also assist with special events. Essential functions include standing, walking, crouching, and stooping for extended periods, lifting and carrying items up to 60 lbs, and performing frequent repetitive motions. The job requires working collaboratively with employees and coworkers, and communicating effectively both verbally and in writing. Dexterity in hands, wrists, elbows, and shoulders is necessary for cleaning tasks. The environmental conditions include potential hazards from equipment and chemicals, as well as exposure to fumes, odors, office dust, and mist from cleaning products.
