Requirements

  • Previous hands-on janitorial/maintenance supervisor experience (for Custodian - Site Supervisor).
  • Valid driver’s license (for Custodian - Site Supervisor, Maintenance Technician/Floater, Maintenance Painter/Drywall Technician).
  • Reliable vehicle (for Custodian - Site Supervisor, Maintenance Technician/Floater, Maintenance Painter/Drywall Technician).
  • Previous hands-on maintenance experience (for Maintenance Technician/Floater, Maintenance Painter/Drywall Technician).
  • Proficiency in light plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, and painting/drywall (for Maintenance Technician/Floater).
  • Tasks must be performed in accordance with EPA, Hazmat, and OSHA safety regulations (for Maintenance Technician/Floater, Maintenance Painter/Drywall Technician).
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination (for Maintenance Painter/Drywall Technician).
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively (for Maintenance Painter/Drywall Technician).

  • Previous hands-on janitorial/maintenance supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, dusting surfaces, and sanitizing restrooms to ensure a hygienic environment.
  • Emptying recycling bins/trash receptacles and restocking supplies.
  • Performing minor repairs or maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Setting up or breaking down furniture for events.
  • Ensuring that all areas are secure after cleaning.
  • Operating various cleaning equipment such as buffer machines, ride-behind machines, side-by-side machines, floor scrubbers, shampoo carpet machines, leaf blowers, and pressure washers.
  • Overseeing and coordinating cleaning and maintenance activities within a designated building.
  • Managing a team of custodians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Scheduling staff shifts, performing inspections to assess cleanliness, and providing training for custodial staff.
  • Communicating by phone and email, and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies/equipment.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact between the custodial team and building management.
  • Performing general maintenance and repairs of facility equipment and property structures, as well as grounds maintenance.
  • Floating to different locations for maintenance tasks.
  • Painting, texturing, and drywall repair.
  • Creating a safe, organized, and welcoming arrival experience for residents, guests, and visitors at the hotel.
  • Assisting with luggage transport.
  • Managing pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the porte-cochère.
  • Facilitating a seamless flow of arrivals and departures, adhering to ADA accessibility and safety standards.
