About The Position

GRBS is hiring a Custodian Supervisor to serve Garden City Public Schools. The work includes routine cleaning and other assigned tasks, as well as snow removal and seasonal summer work such as carpet cleaning and stripping and waxing floors. The listed schedule is 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; the posting also describes the work as performed on day shift. Pay is $17.00 per hour. No experience is needed. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have valid ID, and have reliable transportation. Due to Michigan public schools requirements, applicants with theft-, violence-, or drug-related backgrounds will not qualify for employment.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop, and dust.
• Clean restrooms and remove trash.
• Complete other cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Perform snow removal.
• During summer work, clean carpets and strip and wax floors.
