About The Position

GRBS is seeking individuals 18 years of age or older with a valid ID to join their family as a Custodian Lead for Portland Public Schools. This role requires leadership experience, a positive attitude, teamwork, customer service focus, dependability, self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and reliable transportation. Due to Michigan public schools requirements, individuals with theft, violence, or drug-related backgrounds will not qualify for employment. The position is full-time, working Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Train new hires how to clean buildings
• Confirm and communicate staffing
• Customer check-ins
• Ensure quality; check work, walk downs, daily pictures
• Secure the building
• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• Other cleaning tasks as assigned
