About The Position

GRBS is hiring a full-time, second-shift custodian to serve Portland Public Schools in Portland, Michigan. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with one scheduled weekend per month, for 40 hours per week. The pay rate is $15.50 per hour.

The custodian performs cleaning tasks in school buildings, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and removing trash, along with other assigned cleaning tasks. Team members are expected to attend work consistently, follow GRBS processes, communicate mindfully and respectfully, and complete work according to the building map and shift.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have valid identification, and have reliable transportation. Due to Michigan public school requirements, applicants with theft-, violence-, or drug-related backgrounds will not qualify for employment.
