About The Position
The Custodian Lead assists the Building Supervisor in directing custodial work and supports housekeeping and maintenance of the school building. The position is full-time, 12 months per year, eight hours per day, Monday through Friday, on the afternoon (second) shift. Other duties may be assigned. The rate of pay is $22.35 to $23.55 per hour, based on step and license/position, plus benefits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- State of Minnesota Second Class Engineer Boiler License.
- Training or experience in pneumatic controls and heating applications, electrical fields, and mechanical fields.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 70 pounds.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including completing an assigned day.
- Ability to perform position responsibilities involving physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Building Supervisor in directing the work of custodians.
- Assist with housekeeping and maintenance of the school building.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
