About The Position

GRBS is seeking a full-time Custodian Lead for the Ionia Public School District. This role involves leading a team of custodians, ensuring the building is cleaned to GRBS standards, and providing excellent customer service to the school district. The ideal candidate is 18 years or older, possesses leadership experience, a positive attitude, and is dependable and hard-working. Due to Michigan public school requirements, individuals with theft, violence, or drug-related backgrounds will not qualify for employment. GRBS has over 100 years of experience and is committed to growth and development, fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute the clean building process
• Finish the job with GRBS tools
• Complete 360 communication
• Lead, manage, serve, and hold team members accountable
• Lead with integrity and humility
• Complete Building Walkdowns
• Nightly perimeter door checks
• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• Other cleaning tasks as assigned
