About The Position

GRBS is hiring a full-time floating custodian to serve a building within Grand Rapids Public Schools. The role involves cleaning and maintaining school facilities, including vacuuming and mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms, removing trash, and completing other cleaning tasks as assigned. The position floats within the district and requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Pay is $17.00 plus mileage. No experience is needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have valid ID.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work each day.
• Positive attitude, team player, customer-service focus, dependability, self-motivation, hard work, and reliability.
• Individuals with theft-, violence-, or drug-related backgrounds do not qualify for employment due to Michigan public school requirements.

Responsibilities
