About The Position
Shawnee Health is seeking a Custodian II-Floor Care for our Shawnee Health Administration office. This role is part of Southern Illinois’ leading healthcare organization, with over 350 team members who believe in taking care of each other and our patients and clients, creating new opportunities for success and bringing big dreams to life. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 5:00pm to 10:00pm.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be competent in the use of floor care equipment, such as, Floor stripper, floor buffer, carpet extractor, and vacuum.
- Must be competent in the use of computers.
Nice To Haves
- 2-5 years of floor care experience preferred.
- Bi-lingual
Responsibilities
- Maintaining all VCT flooring and carpet in designated Shawnee Health Service facilities.
- Stripping, waxing and buffing VCT flooring when needed.
- Cleaning carpets when needed.
- Maintaining and organizing contents in the floor care trailer.
- Occasional float to other Shawnee Health locations.
