About The Position

Perform janitorial maintenance of the City’s facilities.

Requirements

• Familiarity with City and OSHA safety requirements.
• Knowledge of SDS for each chemical used.
• Knowledge of proper safety equipment when performing tasks.
• Use of power tools and hand tools.
• Knowledge and understanding of correctly using the following equipment: weed eater, push mower, hedge trimmer, chain saw, and snowblower.
• Ability to operate safely necessary equipment, including weed eaters, lawn mowers, and hedge trimmers.
• Ability to use and wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and be exposed to outside elements and objectionable materials.
• Must possess a current valid Arizona Driver’s License when hired.
• Must be 18 to operate the equipment necessary to perform the job.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine janitorial cleaning and minor repairs at park areas and other City‐owned facilities and properties.
• Performs other related duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
• Perform snow relocation as needed.
