About The Position

The Custodian I Public cleans and maintains assigned public areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairways, and locker rooms. The role also delivers and retrieves rollaway beds, irons, ironing boards, and other items for guest rooms; stocks linen supplies in linen closets; and loads and unloads linen carts. The custodian maintains cleanliness by removing trash and debris, performs property cleanup that may involve bio-chemical material, and ensures preventative care of equipment and supplies. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 or 21, depending on the property.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods for the majority of the shift.
• Be able to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of cleaning experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
