About The Position

Pritchard Industries is seeking an On-call Custodian in Mahwah. The custodian performs building maintenance and cleaning tasks to help keep the building and facilities healthy, safe, and sanitary. Duties include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, and other miscellaneous tasks. The ideal candidate has a professional attitude and appearance and is self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow instructions from the supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to use an auto-scrubber machine.

Nice To Haves

• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus; training will be provided.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop, and sweep floors.
• Remove trash.
