About The Position

Pritchard Industries is seeking an On-call Custodian in Mahwah to perform building maintenance and cleaning tasks. The role helps ensure the building and facilities remain healthy, safe, and sanitary. Duties include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, setting up for events, and other miscellaneous tasks. The ideal candidate has a professional attitude and appearance and is self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow instructions from the supervisor and complete tasks effectively.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to use an auto-scrubber machine.

Nice To Haves

• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience; training is provided.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop, and sweep floors.
