Custodian I Public - On-Call
About The Position
This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining public areas such as hallways, lobbies, stairways, and locker rooms. The role also involves delivering and retrieving items like rollaway beds, irons, and ironing boards to guest rooms. Maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas, picking up and removing trash and debris, and handling property clean-up, including bio-chemical materials, are key duties. Additionally, the role includes stocking linen supplies in closets and loading/unloading linen carts, as well as ensuring the preventative care of equipment and supplies. Other duties may be assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum age 18 or 21 (varies by property)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods for majority of shift.
- Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one year cleaning experience preferred.
Responsibilities

- Other duties as assigned by management.
