About The Position
The Vermont Veterans' Home is currently seeking to hire VVH Institutional Custodians & Groundskeepers. This position will include groundskeeping, housekeeping, and laundry job duties. The Vermont Veterans' Home is an experienced residential and healthcare campus for Veterans. Requirements
- No specific education or experience required.
Nice To Haves
- At least one (1) year of experience as a custodian or housekeeper in a health care or other institutional setting.
Responsibilities
- Groundskeeping duties are mowing, weed eating, landscaping, raking, general maintenance of interior/exterior, pressure washing, and winter maintenance. Seasonal grounds maintenance duties.
- Housekeeping duties are mopping, sweeping, dusting, trash removal, cleaning of living spaces and common areas.
- Laundry duties are laundering linens and personal clothing, sorting and folding, delivery and pickup of laundry as well as operation of laundry machines.
