About The Position
Groundskeepers maintain and improve the landscapes around buildings and facilities, making sure that our Lincoln locations always look their best! This is temporary employment.
Requirements
- No specific education, training, or experience is required for entry to this class.
- Regular and reliable attendance is required.
- Effective communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, climb, bend, stoop, and work outside in temperature extremes.
Nice To Haves
- Prior groundskeeping experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
Responsibilities
- Mow and maintain the grounds for two NDOT locations.
- Remove snow and ice in the winter months during regular business hours and after hours as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
