About The Position

Job Corps is a government-funded, no-cost education and vocational training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps socioeconomically disadvantaged youth. This role is responsible for performing general maintenance duties throughout the center.

Requirements

Minimum: High school diploma or High School Equivalency.
Ability to read and write English.
Six months experience, to include transportation and/or building maintenance.
Must possess a valid State driver’s license.
Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/FA certification.
Ability to operate power tools.

Nice To Haves

One year or more work-related experience.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates and abides by the Company Core Values and the operating principles.
Assists in the relocation of center equipment and furniture.
Performs minor building construction tasks.
Performs interior and exterior center janitorial, building maintenance and grounds keeping assignments.
Attends required staff training sessions as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
