About The Position

The Custodian Floater performs operational and cleaning duties in school buildings at varied locations, along with other duties assigned by the supervisor. Shifts may be 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., or 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. Overtime may be required as needed. This is a Grade C, 12-month, full-time position paying $19.61 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or accredited equivalency.
• Satisfactory school or previous employment record.
• Previous satisfactory experience as a custodian.
• Ability to learn procedures and operations satisfactorily.
• Satisfactory work habits.
• Satisfactory attendance record.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, lifting up to 100 pounds, and reaching.
