Internal and external contacts are often made at the employee's own initiative with all contacts being face to face. At least 20% of all contacts are with external customers while 80% are internal or non-customers.

Requirements

Ability to provide own transportation to and from work, with valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of current vehicle insurance
Ability to be the primary driver for designated team(s).
Ability to operate custodial equipment, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, reach overhead, climb stairs and make repetitive motions of the arms/hands.
Ability to push/pull up to 20 pounds, to lift up to 200 pounds with assistance, and to carry up to 40 pounds regularly throughout a normal workday.
Ability to balance attentiveness to quality while concentrating on speed.
Ability to notice detail.
Ability to make decisions, use independent judgment and/or take independent action, and provide customer service.
Able to read, write, speak, and understand English preferred.
Ability to actively participate in team development and team-oriented processes.
A minimum of three (3) years of driving experience.
ODL required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in general custodial services preferred; adequate demonstration of equivalent skills and attitude accepted.

Responsibilities

Performs custodial duties such as vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, removing trash, and other miscellaneous services safely and in compliance with all Garten policies and procedures.
Monitoring supply needs and stock levels.
Places supply requests as needed to maintain adequate inventory.
Assists with distribution of supplies.
Checks quality against task lists and/or other control documents to ensure all items are completed for the site each time.
Being the primary driver for the team(s) assigned to.
