About The Position

As a Custodian supporting our Sanitation team. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment by performing general cleaning and custodial duties throughout the facility. This role will require a working schedule on B crew 6pm to 6am.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and follow basic instructions and safety procedures.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include wet or humid conditions, airborne particles, chemicals, and varying noise levels.
Ability to perform a physically active role that includes walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Willingness to wear required PPE, which may include protective footwear, gloves, hairnets, sleeves, waterproof suits, hearing protection, and goggles.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors and other facility areas.
Clean and sanitize hard surfaces, including floors and restroom areas.
Empty trash containers, replace liners, and replenish supplies.
Follow proper procedures when using cleaning chemicals, including MSDS information and HACCP requirements.
Identify and report unusual or potentially hazardous sanitation conditions.
Assist with special projects such as painting and deep cleaning as needed.
Follow all plant safety procedures, GMPs, PPE requirements, and company policies.
Perform additional custodial duties as assigned.
