About The Position

Washington State University is seeking a Custodian 3 for Facilities Services Operations in Pullman, Washington. The position leads assigned personnel by regularly assigning tasks, providing instructions, and checking work to ensure high standards. It also maintains custodial inventory and conducts training sessions. Custodial duties include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, snow removal, emptying waste baskets, cleaning floors, dusting, and cleaning furniture.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a Monday-through-Saturday shift from 7:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. The role is overtime eligible. The monthly salary range is $3,485 to $4,633, with placement based on relevant experience, education, skills, and abilities. WSU offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• Physical ability to perform the required work.
• One year of experience in housekeeping, janitorial, general or building maintenance, or custodial work; or one year of experience as a Lead; or equivalent education/experience.
• Must have, or be able to obtain by the time of hire, a valid driver's license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards.

Nice To Haves

• Six months or more of in-depth knowledge of custodial procedures as performed in Facilities Operations.
