The general custodian will be responsible for completing assigned custodial responsibilities in a commercial cleaning account. This includes completing all tasks in the specified allotted time and ensuring a high level of quality. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming hallways, stairs, and office space, as well as cleaning and dusting furniture, emptying wastebaskets, and handling recycling materials. The role also involves cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, refilling restroom dispensers, operating power vacuums, and correctly using cleaning chemicals and solutions according to manufacturer recommendations. The custodian will also assist with facility setups for events and follow all instructions from the Account Manager, including daily job routines and safety procedures. Maintaining cleanliness to meet customer expectations, keeping equipment and supplies orderly, and ensuring regular attendance are key aspects of the role. A positive work atmosphere and adherence to agency safety policies are also required.
