About The Position

The Custodial Technician plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and professional environment for employees, customers, and visitors. This position supports daily operations by ensuring facilities are well-maintained, organized, and ready for use. While this is an entry-level role, it requires reliability, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility, as the quality of this work directly impacts the workplace experience for everyone at AIS.

Requirements

Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team environment.
Reliable transportation to and from the work site.

Nice To Haves

Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and processes while always acting in a safe manner.
Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing common areas, offices, and restrooms.
Empty trash and recycling receptacles; ensure proper disposal of waste.
Restock restroom and breakroom supplies.
Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers safely and effectively.
Maintain cleanliness of entryways and outdoor areas assigned.
Monitor cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is required.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or repair needs promptly.
Uphold AIS Core Values: Integrity, Accountability, Respect, and Service in all aspects of the role.
Other duties as assigned.
