Requirements

• At least three (3) years of supervisory experience over employees
• Knowledge of safety measures for using and storing cleaning supplies.
• Ability to perform basic housekeeping duties.
• Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Complete all fields in the Candidate Profile, including their work history with the month and year.
• Participate in the Direct Deposit Program.
• Undergo Level 2 employment screening.
• Be screened through the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the direct supervision and worksite training (to include the appropriate use of cleaning products and equipment) of seven (7) OPS Custodial Workers and oversight of the custodial worker duties for each residential home and any other areas as assigned
• Develops and maintains courteous, positive, and collaborative working relationships with supervisors of each home. In conjunction with the residential home supervisors, develops, maintains, and updates cleaning schedules for each home including the frequency and location of specific custodial duties during the Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. timeframe (excluding holidays). Responds to residential home supervisor requests/inquiries in a timely manner.
• Assists with performing custodial duties during Custodial Worker absences or vacancies.
• Provide input and assistance to residential home supervisors, as needed/requested, in development of cleaning schedules for Residential staff during custodial worker off-duty timeframes (M-F 3:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., weekends, and holidays).
• Provide on-site training to residential staff on the appropriate use of cleaning products and equipment. Develops monitoring tools and conducts daily observations at each area and works with assigned Custodial Workers and residential home supervisors, as necessary, to correct any deficiencies.
• Completes all required training. Complete and maintain approved maladaptive behavior prevention/de-escalation/intervention certification as required. Maintain timesheet, ensuring accuracy and submit timely in accordance with policy and procedure.
• Perform other related duties as required.
