ICMS is seeking Custodial Shift Supervisor(s) to lead and oversee custodial staff in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and general upkeep of administrative building interiors and grounds. This position requires strong leadership skills, hands-on supervision, and the ability to manage day-to-day custodial operations effectively.

Requirements

A high school diploma or G.E.D.
At least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years in the management of custodial type operations in federal/ administrative buildings with multiple stories and minimum of 250,000 sq. ft cleanable space.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Documented experience as a Custodial Supervisor, Shift Lead, or Manager
Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively lead custodial teams
Knowledge of proper custodial procedures for using and maintaining cleaning tools, machines, and chemical solutions
Familiarity with quality control programs related to custodial operations, including inspections and corrective actions
Experience and familiarity with CMMS and work ticket systems
Ability to work independently and follow specific, detailed instructions
Shall be able to read, write, and fluently converse in the English and Spanish
Willingness to respond to emergencies after hours
Must meet federal government security clearance standards, requiring at least a Public Trust background investigation.
Citizenship requirement: must be a U.S. citizen or have "lawful permanent residence" status to be eligible for a federal clearance including financial and credit stability.

Responsibilities

Supervise, schedule, and coordinate custodial employees, ensuring high-quality service
Organize and manage work shifts, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and effective work schedules for a 24/7/365 operation for specified shifts.
Train, evaluate, and oversee custodial personnel on proper cleaning techniques, safety standards, and use of custodial equipment
Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures, applying appropriate safety standards for all custodial operations and reporting safety hazards
Supervise the proper use and maintenance of custodial equipment, tools, and cleaning compounds, including manually operated tools and electrically powered machines
Execute and perform quality control, in accordance with company’s Quality Control Program, ensuring inspections, scheduling, contract compliance, corrective actions, and process improvements
Respond to tenant complaints and coordinate corrective actions to improve quality
Oversee general grounds maintenance responsibilities, including scheduling and supervising groundskeeping tasks and activities
Prepare reports, work ticket task lists, inspection reports, and work schedules
Oversee compliance with custodial procedures for storage, usage, and disposal of cleaning solvents and chemicals
Assist in special custodial projects and emergency response cleanups as required
Ensure the security of buildings by supervising lock/unlock procedures
Develop staffing schedules and work plans to ensure efficient custodial operations
Maintain inventory records of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment
