About The Position

The Custodial Services Specialist performs the environmental services needed to care for Our Blood Institute facilities. The position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and pays $14.00–$18.00 per hour based on education and/or experience. The posting also offers a $500 bonus after six months and a $1,000 bonus after one year. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Requirements

Several years of hands-on housekeeping experience, preferably in a medical setting.
Excellent customer service skills.
Dependable, responsible, honest, and fair, with the ability to perform under stress.
Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness of assigned OBI facilities.
Perform environmental services, including cleaning restrooms and common areas, dusting offices, and cleaning break rooms.
Perform tasks associated with work order requests as assigned by the supervisor.
Empty waste containers, including biohazardous waste.
Operate housekeeping equipment, including buffers and hard-floor and carpet machines.
Shampoo carpets and maintain all other floors.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
