TB Cushion Filler
About The Position
The Cushion Filler fills and regulates cushions and backs into covers efficiently. The role is in the Staging department at Arhaus Upholstery in Conover, North Carolina, and reports to the Staging Supervisor. Work takes place in a heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors. The position receives minimum supervision and does not supervise others. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime as needed. The role requires the ability to work weekends and overtime. Requirements
- Manufacturing experience.
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be able to stand on concrete for extended periods, up to 9 hours.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Must be able to read a work ticket in English.
- Must be able to work weekends and overtime.
- Must be able to perform and meet established goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to wear required safety PPE, such as safety glasses and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes.
- Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in furniture manufacturing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Use hands to fill cushions into covers.
- Move dollies of cushions.
- Perform other duties as requested by the manager.
