About The Position
Designs and develops specially designed mathematics curriculum for students in self-contained special education classrooms. Ensures alignment to state standards while prioritizing accessibility through scaffolded, individualized supports and effective instructional practices that promote student growth and independence. Partners with campus and central teams to support strong implementation and continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
Requirements
- Experience in designing and developing mathematics curriculum for special education students.
- Knowledge of state standards and accessibility principles.
- Familiarity with scaffolded, individualized supports and effective instructional practices.
- Ability to promote student growth and independence.
- Collaboration skills for partnering with campus and central teams.
