Curriculum Coordinator
About The Position
The Goddard School in South Lebanon, Ohio, is seeking a motivated, self-starting Curriculum Coordinator to assist with the school’s daily operations and help ensure high standards of education and care. The role supports the Director in managing staff, maintaining compliance with licensing requirements, and fostering positive relationships with families and the community. The Curriculum Coordinator assists with implementing the school’s proprietary Wonder of Learning® program, which uses play and curiosity to support children’s learning, individual growth, and lifelong love of learning. The curriculum also aims to develop skills including teamwork, problem-solving, and social-emotional relationships.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education.
- Strong knowledge of child development, early learning best practices, team leadership, and classroom management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine love for children and commitment to providing high-quality education.
- Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience, and credential requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the school.
- Support the recruitment, training, development, and supervision of staff.
- Assist in implementing the Wonder of Learning® program.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with families.
- Conduct regular safety drills and maintain emergency preparedness and compliance with licensing regulations.
