About The Position

The Curbside Shopping Clerk fulfills customers’ online curbside orders and helps provide an accurate, convenient pickup experience. The role involves shopping throughout the store, using technology to receive and complete orders, preparing and staging items, and assisting customers at the curbside pickup area. The clerk also supports customer service, follows food safety and bagging standards, maintains a clean pickup area, and helps with other tasks as needed. Training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Minimum of 1 year of experience.
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
Able to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail experience.
Past cashier experience.
Past online ordering experience.

Responsibilities

Fulfill customers’ online orders accurately and efficiently.
Provide service at the curbside pickup area, including collecting payment and supporting the carside pickup experience.
Greet customers courteously in person and by phone and respond to their questions and needs.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, store team members, and leadership.
Address customer concerns promptly, partnering with leadership when needed.
Use a dashboard to receive daily workflow and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag items according to standards.
Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for pickups.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
