The Position: We're looking for an Operator responsible for operating a Curb Machine along with several other types of construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This equipment may include, but is not limited to skid steers, backhoes, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, and other pieces of equipment.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
- Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments.
- Member of a Local Operators Union, or willingness to become a union member are required.
- Successfully pass or has passed the Operators Union aptitude test when required.
Nice To Haves
- A Class A CDL is desired but not necessary prior to hire.
- Experience operating equipment, and the ability to safely and efficiently operate a Curb Machine desired.
Responsibilities
- Operating a Curb Machine along with several other types of construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- When not operating equipment, be willing to labor as needed.
