About The Position

EXP, an award winning international engineering firm, is currently seeking a Cultural Survey Participant in the SD region. Participants from interested Tribes will be given the opportunity to accompany cultural field crews during the inventory phase of the proposed Midwest Carbon Express Project (Project) to provide local/Tribal input and knowledge to the field studies.

Requirements

• Complete all Project safety training prior to the start of fieldwork.
• Abide by Company and Project specific safety rules inclusive of wearing the applicable personal protective equipment at all times while on the Project ROW and/or facility sites.

Responsibilities

• Accompany cultural field crews during the inventory phase of the proposed Midwest Carbon Express Project to provide local/Tribal input and knowledge to the field studies.
• Attend daily morning tailgate meetings. Failure to attend will result in loss of work for that day.
• Accompany each archaeological crew and report to and communicate directly with the archaeological Crew Chief.
• Use Project field report forms for all documentation and recommendations.
• Take a photo of completed report forms at the end of each workday and submit to supervisor for incorporation into Project’s daily reporting.
• Check in with supervisor at the end of each workday.
