The Cultural Coordinator will provide culturally appropriate services to children, youth, and families, recognizing the importance of Indigenous knowledge in nurturing their sense of identity and belonging. This role is crucial in honoring cultural expertise and making a meaningful impact. The position will provide mentorship, advocacy, and connections to traditional knowledge Keepers. This position prioritizes working with children in care. The Cultural Coordinator will ensure that all services provided to WRFN children and youth are culturally appropriate and nurture their identity and belonging. They will ensure all services are available to children-in-care who reside on and off reserve and establish connections with identified caregivers and parents. In doing so, the Cultural Coordinator will provide mentorship, personal consultation, and an Indigenous perspective to the FWB staff, the children, and families they serve as required.
