About The Position

Logan Simpson is seeking a regular full-time Cultural Resources Project Manager to join their award-winning, multidisciplinary consulting firm. This role will contribute to a diverse, collaborative, and innovative team, offering opportunities to expand skillsets and bring new ideas to the table. The position is based out of the Salt Lake City office and operates on a hybrid schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Anthropology or a related field.
  • 6+ years of cultural resources management (CRM) experience, including 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • 2+ years of archaeology experience in the Great Basin or Southwest regions.
  • Sufficient experience to be listed on one or more archaeological permits in Utah.
  • Knowledge about Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and digital literacy skills.
  • Be able to work cooperatively in a positive team-oriented setting.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in the office 3 days per week on average, as applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with transportation projects is preferred.
  • Knowledge of architectural history documentation protocols in Utah is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and managing all phases of cultural resources projects (archaeology and potentially architectural history) including survey, archaeological monitoring, testing and data recovery.
  • Interacting with clients and land managers.
  • Producing technical reports.
  • Preparing scopes of work and cost estimates.
  • Meeting project scope, schedule, and budget obligations.
  • Conducting quality control/quality assurance reviews of field data and reports.
  • Conducting local fieldwork as needed.
