North Wind Resource Consulting, incorporated in 2011, specializes in environmental documentation and permitting, natural and cultural resource surveys, wildlife and botanical expertise, NEPA technical services, historic and prehistoric surveys, environmental consultation (including Section 106 for cultural resources, Section 404 for wetlands, and Section 7 for endangered species), and GIS and mapping capabilities. The company maintains offices across the country. The Senior Cultural Resource Project Manager position is responsible for leading complex cultural resources projects primarily within the northern Great Basin, Plateau, and northwestern Great Plains cultural areas. This work will predominantly occur on public lands in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and Oregon, but may extend to other lands in these and surrounding states. The role involves directing cultural resources compliance, technical execution, project controls, client communication, and staff leadership for projects with federal, state, tribal, and private-sector clients. A strong emphasis is placed on Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, NEPA, and related regulatory requirements, supporting infrastructure, energy, transmission, mining, transportation, land development, and public lands work.
