The firm specializes in environmental planning, cultural resource management, community planning, and landscape architecture design services. Their mission is to guide responsible change, focusing on protecting natural resources and advancing the wellbeing of communities. They are seeking a regular full-time Cultural Resources Project Manager to work a hybrid schedule based out of their Salt Lake City office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Anthropology or a related field.
  • 6+ years of cultural resources management (CRM) experience, including 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • 2+ years of archaeology experience in the Great Basin or Southwest regions.
  • Sufficient experience to be listed on one or more archaeological permits in Utah.
  • Knowledge about Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and digital literacy skills.
  • Be able to work cooperatively in a positive team-oriented setting.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in the office 3 days per week on average, as applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with transportation projects is preferred.
  • Knowledge of architectural history documentation protocols in Utah is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and managing all phases of cultural resources projects (archaeology and potentially architectural history) including survey, archaeological monitoring, testing and data recovery.
  • Interacting with clients and land managers.
  • Producing technical reports.
  • Preparing scopes of work and cost estimates.
  • Meeting project scope, schedule, and budget obligations.
  • Conducting quality control/quality assurance reviews of field data and reports.
  • Conducting local fieldwork as needed.
