About The Position

As a Cultural Insights & PR Coordinator, you will support both our Strategy and Account teams by bringing a pulse on culture into everything we do—while helping execute PR and influencer campaigns. This is a hybrid role (50% Culture Research/ 50% PR Coordination) designed for someone early in their career who is deeply curious, highly organized, and tapped into what’s happening across pop culture, sports, music, entertainment, and art. Working closely with the Senior Strategist and Account teams, you’ll help track trends, surface insights, and support the execution of campaigns that are both culturally relevant and strategically sound. You don’t need to predict culture—you need to spot it, understand it, and help apply it.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Cultural Studies, Sociology, or related field.
  • 0–1 years of experience in PR, social media, marketing, or research
  • Strong interest in culture, trends, and human behaviour
  • Passion for pop culture, sports, music, entertainment, and art
  • Highly fluent in social platforms and internet culture
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Able to connect trends to brand opportunities (with guidance)

Nice To Haves

  • Internship or entry-level experience in an agency or brand environment is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track trends across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, Substack, etc.)
  • Stay on top of key cultural verticals including pop culture, beauty, wellness sports, music, entertainment, and art
  • Identify emerging conversations, behaviours, and viral moments
  • Support the development of cultural roundups, trend reports, and insight decks
  • Translate trends into clear takeaways for internal teams (“what it is” + “why it matters”)
  • Bring forward relevant examples, case studies, and references to inspire creative thinking
  • Assist the Senior Strategist in developing insight-led ideas for client work and new business
  • Help synthesize research into clear, concise insights
  • Support the development of strategic narratives and creative territories
  • Ensure ideas are grounded in current culture and audience behaviour
  • Support media and influencer outreach through pitching, list building, and relationship management
  • Assist in campaign execution, including timelines, deliverables, and coordination across teams
  • Help manage influencer programs (research, outreach, briefing, content approvals, and reporting)
  • Coordinate with vendors, creators, and partners as needed
  • Support event planning, mailers, and campaign logistics
  • Assist in media monitoring, coverage tracking, and reporting
  • Contribute to campaign recaps and performance summaries
  • Share cultural insights and trends with the broader team
  • Stay proactive in bringing forward ideas, tools, and opportunities
