About The Position
The STEAD School is seeking a passionate culture-builder, relationship-builder, collaborator, and educational innovator to create meaningful, hands-on learning experiences alongside students. The STEAD School is a public, independent charter high school focused on problem-driven, project-based learning and the connection between Science, Technology, Environment, Agriculture, and Design. As a Culinary Guide, you will engage students through hands-on culinary learning while connecting food, agriculture, health, sustainability, and real-world problem solving. The ideal candidate will create engaging, hands-on culinary experiences, build strong relationships with students and colleagues, connect food and cooking to real-world learning, thrive in a collaborative, innovative school environment, and be passionate about helping students become confident, creative problem-solvers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Mandatory background checks, including criminal records review and fingerprinting.
- Verification of qualifications and professional history through reference checks.
- Adherence to Colorado Education Laws.
Nice To Haves
- Teaching experience preferred.
- State licensure preferred.
