About The Position

The supervisor role is a building block in leadership. As such a supervisor must have patience, communication skills and an array of problem-solving skills to manage any situation that may arise. As a supervisor you must be able to de-escalate a situation as well as know when to praise an employee. The supervisor position oversees the day-to-day operation of a team at a specific venue. This position will be required to train, provide guidance, delegate/assign tasks and ensure that work is being completed while acting as a liaison between your team and upper management.

Responsibilities

• Greets, directs and responds to guest questions and needs in a timely manner
• Maintain a daily Supervisor Log to be submitted EOD for each shift
• Responsible for keeping venue office space clean and organized.
• Drafting your venue’s schedule for manager approval. A supervisor in this role will need to be cognizant of labor costs per day
• Manage and communicate a venues labor with your manager. A supervisor must stay observant of all employee’s attendance (Early/Late clock in/out, No Call No Shows, Lunches being missed, etc.)
• Manage employee’s timesheet in payroll
• Maintain company and uniform standards
• Train all incoming staff
• AM Supervisors must complete a daily prep list
• PM supervisors must complete the OH and prep list nightly
• Operates and cleans food prep equipment in accordance with procedure
• Daily Team Huddles
