About The Position

Urbana Place, a Lifespark Senior Living Community in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, is seeking a Server to support residents, families, and staff in its 103-unit community, which provides Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Culinary Assistants/Servers help create an environment that promotes resident well-being by assisting with food preparation, distribution, and supply. The posting lists part-time morning shifts (11 a.m.–7 p.m.), part-time evening shifts (4 p.m.–7 p.m.), and weekends-only availability. The listed wage is $15.50–$20.50.

Requirements

• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents’ families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up room trays and tables in the dining room.
• Serve meals and bus trays.
• Pour and cover beverages.
• Assist with preparing and covering food.
• Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays when applicable.
• Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
• Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
• Soak, scrub, scrape, and wash soiled dishes.
