This role involves supervising a team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences. The Culinary Manager will be responsible for coaching and developing the team, driving associate engagement, and delegating tasks effectively. The position requires diligent monitoring of inventory and product purchasing, as well as maintaining food and labor costs within budget, including a thorough understanding of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). Responsibilities also include selecting and developing recipes for corporate approval, standardizing production recipes to ensure consistent quality, establishing presentation techniques, and maintaining quality standards. Menu planning and costing for special events and chef’s choice menus are also part of the role. Additionally, the Culinary Manager will oversee proper equipment operation and maintenance, and ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
