About The Position

Elim Shores Independent and Assisted Living is hiring a self-motivated, energetic Culinary Assistant to serve meals to residents, employees, and family members in a restaurant-style dining environment with a full-service menu. This entry-level opportunity is suitable for someone interested in learning and growing in a healthcare setting; no experience is required, and training is provided. The role offers the opportunity to serve others in a team-focused environment and build relationships with residents.

The position is part-time, with an available shift from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The wage range is $16.68–$18.05 per hour, depending on experience. The work location is 7900 Timber Lake Dr, Eden Prairie, MN 55347.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
• Work within the department to provide quality, nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
