About The Position
Arbors at Ridges Assisted Living is seeking a Server/Culinary Assistant to provide dining room meal service to residents and maintain supplies in kitchenettes. The community is located on the Ebenezer Ridges Burnsville Campus near Fairview Ridges Hospital and has 62 apartments. The role supports residents’ quality of life through attentive meal service and positive communication. The nutrition services schedule is 31 hours every two weeks. The posting lists an evening shift of 4–7 p.m. and a day shift of 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with work every other weekend.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills and proficiency.
- Teamwork and a positive demeanor.
- Desire to work with seniors.
- Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
Nice To Haves
- Work experience in a customer service setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve prepared meals to residents and keep the dining area clean and inviting.
- Promote positive resident relations and satisfaction with meal service.
- Sanitize equipment and work areas and maintain supplies.
- Assist with meal preparation and special events.
- Provide kitchen support as needed, including washing dishes and cleaning floors.
- Answer phones and communicate requests appropriately.
