About The Position

Apple Valley Village Health Care Center, a Cassia community, is hiring Culinary Assistants to join their team. Teamwork and respect are very important to them. They are passionate about what they do and enjoy serving others. This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting. No experience is needed as training will be provided. As a Culinary Assistant, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience by serving residents, employees, and family members meals. Meal times and good food are important parts of everyone's lives. The Culinary Department is a great group to work with and are valued by staff and residents alike. Requirements

• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Compassionate, positive attitude and team player.
• Previous serving/dining experience is plus, but not required! We will train!

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents, staff, and families.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• May support kitchen staff with duties such as prepping food.
• Complete additional tasks as needed.
