About The Position

Legacy of Farmington Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and passionate Culinary Assistant (Part Time) to join their growing team. This role is crucial in enriching the lives of residents by assisting in the preparation, distribution, and supply of food and dishes, while fostering an environment that promotes resident well-being. The community is located in Farmington, MN, and offers Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services in a 70-unit apartment-style setting. Lifespark, the parent company, is dedicated to helping seniors 'Age Magnificently'.

Requirements

Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation, distribution, and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff.
Create an environment that promotes resident well-being.
Set up room trays and tables in the dining room.
Serve and bus trays.
Pour and cover beverages.
Assist in preparing and covering food.
Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays.
Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
Soak, scrub, scrape, and wash soiled dishes.
