About The Position

Our Culinary Assistants/Servers become family and impact the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. Polar Ridge, a Lifespark Senior Living Community is looking for a Culinary Assistant/Server to join our growing team! Polar Ridge Senior Living is a beautiful community located in North St Paul, MN right off highway 36, near the giant snow man and North High School. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 114-unit, apartment style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care services. Polar Ridge Senior Living is a growing community with a fun, passionate, and caring team who assists our residents Age Magnificently. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, distribution and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff while creating an environment that promotes resident/resident well-being.

Requirements

Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour and cover beverages, and assist in preparing and covering food.
Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable.
Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
Soak, scrub, scrape and wash soiled dishes.
